These beautiful candles are ~13.5 cm wide and 5.5cm tall, weigh 400 grams and will burn for 80 to 100 hours.

Black Rose and Oud

How to Burn the Perfect Candle

The first burn is the most important—the candle wax must pool to the edge on the initial burn. Wax has memory and if your candle doesn’t burn to the edges, it will begin to tunnel and won’t burn evenly the next time. This means that you will need to burn this candle for about 4 hours.  In the perfect scenario, you would burn these candles for four hours each time and not more than once every 24 hours to prolong the life of the candle. Burning for more than four hours can cause the wick to form a mushroom or carbon deposit which needs to be trimmed to avoid soot or smoke during the burn. If you do get a tunnel in your candle, push down the wax on the edges with a butter knife until it is below the wick.  Once you light the wick, the wax will melt and the candle will burn evenly again.
